I've had my syncros replaced under warranty 50k ago. And to this day I still miss second at
WOT sometimes !!!! And it's always when some ricer Civic, Domestic, or Subie wants to get
their butt whupped !!!!
Why the HELL is that !?!? Any other time it's fine.

I have mis-shifted only one time in my evo. It was during the first week I had the car, and just was not use to it. Now, I drive my car pretty hard, and shift at WOT quite a bit, and have not missed a gear at all. Everything is pretty damn smooth.
With that being said, tomorrow morning on my way to class I am going to miss third and blow my tranns. Just wait.

I'm glad to see there are a few in the same boat as me. Im going to try some Redline trans fluid next time I change the fluid. If that doesn't work, maybe I'll adjust the clutch? Or maybe the problem will suddenly dissapear for months as it has before.
Do you find that weird, that I'll go forever without it happening, and then I'll have this time span where I have numerous miss shifts? I'd like to think it's me just sucking. It's cheaper to fix my shifting habits than it is to replace a transmission

depending on how you drive you'll wear out the syncro's. Evo's are know for having poor syncro's. You can have gear grind at 60k. Syncro's are like $60 but a pain in the @ss to change. Replace it next time you do the clutch. Not a novice job but you got to start somewhere.
