You should really measure the rod bolt stretch to determine the clamping force, not torque. Call ARP to find out the proper stretch, it's different for the ARP 2000 and 625+ bolts (I think it's .0062-.0068" stretch). If you don't have a stretch gauge, you can use a point micrometer. If you don't have a point micrometer you can use the torque method but be sure to call ARP and get their requested torque value USING THEIR THREAD LUBE.
