Until he buys a second motor... And he never said how many miles were on the rest of the car.

hello everyone i am new to this forum and i just purchased my first evo. Its a 03 evo 8. i got it for 4500 with a blown motor. i bought a stock swap to put it in everything went fine with the drop. I put a little over 800 miles on the motor. the next day i got in the car and i started to drive got to 15 mph and it started to knock. i pulled over and checked all the fluids and everything was fine there was no oil light or anything. i am really at a lost. can anyone help me. the company i bought the motor from says that i have to pull it back out repacked it and shipped it back to them on my dollar. would anyone know what would have caused this. I never redlined it nor raced it. thats why i am so confused.
mind if i take a look? Keep it and take it to DTM. Tell Nick whats happening and you can get a built engine that will LAST. Then strap on a big turbo and have fun!

You can buy a brand new assembled longblock from mitsu, built to spec for $2000 or less. This one won't fall apart for the first 100,000 miles of abuse either

Where was this on the 8,000 dollar repair bill when my motor blew and Mitsu decided after the fact that they weren't covering it under warranty? I know it wasn't 2000, that's awesome if 4g63s are only 2k now from the factory.
