Im looking forward to seeing the end product of this build up. It looks like you guys have the right sources so i dont doubt it one bit that this car will once again break some more records.

I like that custom core support you have. Very minimalist...and perfect for a track car.

I like the clean, complete car look... Just because its a race car doesnt mean I need to cut it all up. Door panels dont weigh anything anyways... Doors are completely stock except lexan. Door beams and everything are in there.

Those pictures really dont do it justice. I'll take more pics tomorrow before the RS gets loaded on the trailer. Everything on our end is finished, all it needs is hooking the oil lines up and a good tune from Crispeed........

I may have missed it Q, but are you supporting that turbo in any way with bracing or relying solely on the downpipe and manifold to take the brunt of the weight?

What those pictures dont show is what I welded up this afternoon. A rather monster brace underneath the mani..I used 1/4 inch stainless with gussets. I'll post up the new updated pics tomorrow. I'm going in to clean and get "Lana" ready for the trip south and back to her home track. I'll put together a photo-shoot tomorrow to show more details of the manifold, downpipe, wastegate, LICpipe. I also fabbed up a simple but functional AEM-ECU bracket that now holds the ECU underneath the dash and out of the way but still has easy access for tuning/logging.
