I'll vouch for Dan's setup. He has convinced me to do a twin scroll when I step up from the EvoRed.

In all fairness evodan2004, I don't think evolved83 was referring to a TS setup when mentioning the GT30r series turbos; just that the GT30r's are slow spooling.

i just guessed he meant it as TS being in a TS thread. sorry bout that. but still a reg 30r is not that slow spooling. comparing to what??? a reg 30r should net 26psi at no later then 4300rpm. not to slow if it was my opinion. but that would come with a personal opinion as everyone feels and things differently then the last guy. now a reg 35r IMO is laggy as hell. put it in TS form and its a different animal

just to clarify -- here is a comparison of a "competitors" singlescroll 35R kit vs full-race singlescroll gt3076R kit on speedelement's time attack evo9 (now they switched to twinscroll). this test was done on the same car within 2 days. he pulled the old 35R kit off and installed our 30R kit

Geoff, I see your comparison and raise you my own TS GT3076 vs my own single scroll GT35 (actually Ted's). This is on an uncorrected DD dyno(roughly 440+whp DJ) @ 23 psi for both turbos and 93 octane. This graph illustrates why Ted wanted to throw rocks at his GT35 set up after driving my TS GT3076 and why he is now a diehard TS advocate

.78 divided on th GT30 and a .63 open on the GT35. My car currently has a 1.06 T3 divided housing which killed 2-300rpm spoolup, but made another 20+ hp alone.
