When installing this turbo kit did you have to notch out the front engine mount for fitment of the intake?

i have almost same turbo setup, but w/o the hta thing. but i have the 2.2l cosworth crate motor and basically every bolt on possible, besides ignition. i will say this setup is bad *** and it feels near stock spool up. actually it just feels like i have no lag.

Just to clear things up Geoff: I personally never said that GT30r's are slow spooling in the post you quoted; just that another member had referenced them as being slow spooling.

We all know there are many factors that effect spoolup besides the turbo itself.

Funny thing that boost plot with the "competitor" creeping very much to redline. Usually that tactic isn't plotted as it would show why some of "their' dyno plots look like HP keeps on "growing" up. Problem is "their" midrange is crap but numerically people swear by an inferior setup.
Good work Geoff

where did you find that housing?
I was on an archaelogical dig in Peru. It was unearthed among the ruins of an acient Incan temple near the Inca capitol Cuzco...

I was buying T3 TS housing from a local turbo shop and he had a couple of suiteable size housings to machine for the GT30 turbine. I have never seen any more or I would have bought them

I edited my first nasty post.

Let me just put this out there. Whatever that mess is you put up in your first post is ABSOLUTELY 100% NOTHING WE EVER BUILT HERE. I don't know where you got that abortion or who screwed it up for you but that is NOT a BR kit on that car.

my old kit was your old br500bb kit with the internal wastegate. you sold this kit back in 2004-2005. This was your kit before your current cast manifold kit with the tial 44mm. the internal waiste gate stoped working so i welded a tial 44mm on the manifold

i asure you my old kit was indead a buschur br500 ball bearing kit.

if you ever decide to further tweak the setup a bit more, let me know. i believe there is still plenty of room on the table. thanks again for the update, dont forget to post up some dynoplots!

yeah, a lot of other shops use the 38mm wg's, this small valve size allows boost creep to set in, which obviously "inflates" the hp/tq due to the higher boost... thanks for the compliment sir, i am not here to pull any punches.

dont do it!! when you are ready to upgrade the setup, PM me. there are a lot of options to consider, but the twinscroll 30R is not one i recommend at this time

i certainly dont know much about your products or this customer's turbokit, but it looks similar to the buschur hta kit i removed from vivek's evo? just welded on a wastegate tube for the 44mm?

this one:

vivek's old buschur turbokit:
