Full-race t4 1.06ar twin scroll HTAgt3582r tuned on stock motor results

i just got my full-race t4 1.06 ar twin scrool HTAgt3582r tuned. mods are in my sig. motor is bone stock with all standard bolt ons with gsc s2 cams. motor has 120k miles. car was tuned at road race engineering at so cal.

This kit spools way faster than my buschur gt30r kit and makes way more power.
makes 20psi by about 4k rpm in 3rd gear.

stock turbo 91 octane 22psi the car made 310whp
buschur gt30r 91 octane 22psi car made 355whp
fullrace t4 1.06 ar twinscroll HTA gt3582r male 404whp at 22psi 91 octane

on e85 at 22 psi with more agressive timing the car make about 500whp and we stoped there because of the stock motor

this gt35 kit spools fast!!!! and the transit response between shifts was 100x better than the buschur 30r kit

crappy old school buschur gt30r kit. this is buschurs really old kit that was out in 2004. they called it the br500bb kit.

t4 twin scroll 1.06 ar housing

car made 404whp on 91 octane 22psi

500whp on e85 at 22psi on the stock engine. We stoped here because of the stock 120,000 miles engine

Very very impressive.

Goes totally against what others on these forums have said this combination would produce.

What other mods do you have? Which dyno were you using. Those numbers seems a little hight for the stock 03 turbo on 91.

No offense but I do not think your comparison is apples to apples; I would certainly hope a HTA GT3582 would produce more power than any GT30 series turbo (at the same boost levels); all other parts remaining the same.

Have fun with your new setup.

I agree and the gt30 sucks as far as spool anyways. Have fun with the car though

Exactly, how do you think that a much bigger turbo with a much larger A/R spooled faster than the smaller unit?

Probably has something to do with twin scroll being a myth.... going from a 500-700whp turbo and gaining spool and response, interesting..

I agree 100%. The 30r in that buschur kit is a horrible abortion. the 30 r is not a fast spooling turbo to begin with. install that turbine wheel in a bolt on dsm housing and you have a real headache. I have seen 3071r in single scroll make 400whp at 20psi on pump gas.

Not to say there wasnt some nice gains going to TS 35R. But to attribute the gains to TS is week at best. the AMS or bushur 35r tubular kit would have produced same remarkable gains over kit that was on there...
