Buschur or Shep Rebuild?
i'm looking to get either the buschur bushwacker or the shepherd street-strip rebuild...getting some grinding here and there so i might wait a little while but i don't want to wait too long for something to go wrong. they are both around the same price and offer about the same goodies...so my two questions..

http://www.sheptrans.com/transmissions/evo.htm
1) will this void any kinda warranty? don't know if the synchros are oem replacements or whatever
2) which is better, if at all different, and why?
thanks a lot in advance guys

+1 for Shep... btw, if its 5th gear synchros causing your grind it might be covered. My 1st tranny was covered under warranty. i went w/ a Shep after i killed the 2nd tranny and warranty voided on drivetrain, lol...

Dont know to much about the bushwacker. But why not go with someone that specializes on this specific problem? I have a 9 tranny and did the rem/isf, with the 3-4 evo 8 conversion. couldnt be happier. John knows what hes talking about.

Have you tried replacing your fluids? I'm in the same position as you w/ the 5th gear grind and I've heard changing the fluids out might resolve the problem
