When I got mine the C-port was capped off already (as shown in pic). I was in the impression that it was a Evo specific one and only added vacuum to the A and B ports...

Did any one else receive their BOV in this set-up or should I contact Synapse...

By the way this BOV far surpassed by expectations! The stock IX bov must've been leaking pretty bad because I picked up 5psi of boost before 4,000rpm. I still get flutter when I'm on partial throttle and havent had the time to play with it, one reason being that I dont know if the c-port should be capped...

Once I figure that out I'll start to problem shoot the flutter...

On with the pics...

as the synapse supposed to come with that "Y" hose? I didn't get one...

You can buy it separately from them. http://synapseengineering.pinnacleca..._Kit-68-2.html

is it true that if you dont have the c port hooked up to boost it will leak while in boost i am talking like 28+ psi on a hta 3582 and way more psi on race gas. my c port nipple broke off.

I thought I would update you guys with what I went to and HOW MUCH BETTER IT IS.

I got a Speed Density conversion from my good friend Aaron @ English Racing and put on a TiAL 50mm VTA bov and my driveability and part throttle boost has NEVER BEEN BETTER.

(for those of you who question the validity of this statement... I ran the stock bov, crushed 9 bov, Dejon Tool modded 9 bov, Synapse BOV, and finally the TiAL.

TiAL Sport. Made in the U.S.A.

Hit up English racing for the speed density conversion! Aaron is your man.

its odd that so many people have problems with this bov. i switched from the tial to the synapse and so far its been very nice. when you break down the mechanics of this bov, its obvious why it would be so great. i guess it all depends on the install.
