How do you not know why you think that? What's making you think that it's blown? Those are some of the usual symptoms, yes. The car may leak coolant on the ground. Do a compression test. My buddy just blew his, and the first 2 cylinders had very low compression. That pretty much gave it away.

loss of power because of loss of compression, milky oil, white smoke, overheating beacause of burning coolant, oil in coolant overflow tank, leaking coolant or oil from where the block and head meet. those are some of the symptoms of a leaking head gasket. best way to track down if this the head gasket is to do a leak down test

My head gasket was cracked badly, and my only symptoms were coolant pressure doing abnormal things (use a coolant pressure tester) and a bit of steam coming from the radiator cap area leaving in first gear.

when i blew mine on my VIII it would overheat, and the coolant was filled with oil which led to a cracked and warped head.

I will state that it is common for some 50K mileage evo's to leak oil in the back of the motor. It doesn't necessarily mean the gasket it blows but they do leak quite a bit. I took a look at the gasket it it doesn't look very well designed. It isn't as good as the evo 3 gaskets I've seen. I recommend anyone that plans on changing the head gasket to put a hondata liquid seal. That is all.
