I wasn't really interested in one until I saw the price come down. I was thinking of getting one from here http://vr-speed.com/store/quaife-hel...on-p-1871.html. It's only 898 with free shipping, i remember when they were a lot more expensive. Should definitely help out at hte track this spring.

im confused, is this for front or rear? or both?
is this like the limited slip upgrade from tre?
we have lsd's are these just better?
i dont understand why anyone with an 05 evo or newer would get one of these

Yes there are different units available.
Here is one for the rear:

As for the front diff.... I really doubt the Quaife will be much of an upgrade over the OEM LSD but it would be a huge improvement over the 03-04 non-rs open diff. That being said OEM units are selling for half that price.

Also it helps to prevent broken spider gears from finding their way into your transfer case.
