I put a Cusco twin in mine when I was still basically stock at 24k miles. I have 55k on it now and am far from stock! LOL still holding strong and off and on daily driving during the build.

I plan on running a Quartermaster twin from MAP on a daily basis. And I'd be willing to bet if you treat it right well over 20k is possible.

Thank you for Clarifying that up for me guys!

So what do you think i should go with Cusco or Exedy???. I have an offer for the cusco for 1550 for the clutch the oem throwout bearing and a SS clutch line

I have a quartermaster. The shop that made me buy it lied to me. My wife hates me for buying this clutch. We don't race the car at all and we really didn't need it. I only have about 500 miles on it and I want to sell it. It's great for racing. I am looking to go to stock so let me know if anyone is interested.

Had the Exedy Hd twin in my car and loved it. Cusco is made by exedy and it just a SD with a blue pressure plate.

Hey Chris,

Just found this interesting piece of info.

Cusco has a load leveling bearing between the discs. The Exedy does not. This leads to premature wear and noise in the Exedy.
I think that this would be beneficial on a street car that gets used a lot.

Exedy Twin SD 30k hard miles on it, alot alot of launches...

Fairly easy to drive,

However- needed new floater plates when I rebuilt, in addition to the clutch discs.

I would already have a twin if they weren't so darn noisy.

I had high hopes for the spec since people said they didn't emit the same "marbles in the tranny" sound.

The Cusco Is only a little bit louder than Stock I belive.

I have 0 noise from my twin after the 500 mile break in. Not even any when the pedal is engaged. At really cold driving temps for the first minute or so it will whine, but once it warms up it drives normal. No issues whatsoever here
