Daily Driven Twin Disc

Hey guys,

I was told by someone that the twin disc will wear quicker than a regular clutch.
How true is this? and How many people daily drive with their Twin disc?

Please post any expirances you have with the Twins.

Im looking to buy the Cusco twin.

Thanks,

Kris.

Edit:

So what do you think i should go with Cusco or Exedy???. I have an offer for the cusco for $1550 for the clutch the oem throwout bearing and a SS clutch line

The Exedy twins have gone 40k+ in my experience (the cusco is an overpriced Exedy SD FYI). The QM won't go quite as long, but you won't overpower it that I can assure you Whichever route you decide to go please PM us for pricing, I guarantee the best price anywhere on either of these clutches!

I just had an Exedy twin disk HD clutch installed on my Evo IX last week. Driven already almost 200 miles. Pedal is slightly stiffer than stock and the clutch is really noisey.

Exedy twin metallic here over 20k miles on my MR. Mostly in stop and go traffic here in SoCal freeways (one of the worse) and streets. I got the clutch used about 2k mile on it and installed by the master at RRE.
