getting rid of maf ?

I have a gt35r kit custom made, the car made good whp but i'm afraid that the honeycomb will go loose and mess up my turbo, so i was planning to get a 4" custom intake with an k&n 4" cone so i wont have to use the maf sensors but, the question is once i make my custom made 4" intake do i have to get a maf translator if so which will be the best for an evo ix ?
any feedback will be highly apreciated thanks!!

Start searching the Ecu Flash area and I suggest you start with either searching for threads started by JCSBANKS or Mr.Fred. They will pertain to Speed Density and Manifold air Temp Logging.

Or actually go to the buschur project white thread post # 297 I posted all the links in there to mod a rom for speed density, manifold air temp logging, logging and controlling boost via ecu.

Id post it all up again but I dont feel like it right now. Buschur thread will be the easiest.
