Getting ready to install evo 9 turbo into evo 8.

I've been searching for the thread that shows the part numbers for everything I would need to put in an evo 9 turbo, manifold, hotside etc.

Can anyone link it for me please?

Don't flame.

all you need is the 9 turbo j-pipe and a 10.5 hotside....you can use the 8 turbo manifold and 8 turbo oil and coolant lines....

I'd recommend getting new copper gaskets for the oil feed line.

I'd get the install kit (the $135 one). I don't believe in taking shortcuts by not replacing the lines. And while your at it get the turbo ported if you want to go all out.

all i did was use the lines from the 8 turbo, and i just bought the j-pipe and i used the stock copper washers because they looked good...but hey if you have the money to spend go ahead and do it...but i would get a 02 housing instead of that install kit if you do have the money....

The oil feed line and the coolant lines are a little different but can be bent (carefully) to fit. I would go ahead and invest in all new crush washers for everything, and new gaskets for the oil return line (turbo side and oil pan side), then a new IX J-pipe. I just did this swap about 2 weeks ago, and I bought everything from Russell at mitsubishiparts.net. he has the IX install kit listed on the site also if you want new everything, but his kit doesn't include all of the crush washers or the manifold to turbo gasket. I would also suggest spending a few extra dollars and picking up an ebay O2 housing while you have everything off cause that will definitely help you in the long run...
