HTA 3076 and stuff on my IX MR
#31
Chris set my boost on my MBC to 22.5psi. (he told me that after the tune was over) On my boost gauge it seems to go to 23 so I would say this is pretty accurate.
I will have headstuds soon from arp installed. I wonder if he will set the MBC to 24? (If this is safe)- I will only run 93 and never take the car to a track, so I don't care about the 1/4mile times. It is mostly a Daily Driver I just like to give Vettes a hard time. It would be nice to hit 400whp, I think I have some pretty good mods for this but you guys would know more. I maybe might want a HTA35R in the future, but I don't know if my transmission will take it. I also do not have a stroker kit for helping me with that lag, or the bottom end strength you need. I'm hoping boost will be mostly at peak and jumping up hard from 3500-4000rpm, right now with my mods the boost comes on so easy its hard to drive it economically. I do have the bigger cams coming (GSC S2) and I know I need the bigger turbo to take advantage of those, they accidentally shipped me the non-mivec ones for the evo 4-8, have to get those back so I can get the right cams. The beehive springs already came. I was going to do my cams this weekend but I have to wait for the right ones. Its hard to tell but I've searched a bunch of how much i'm going to "slide" the boost jump up the rpm scale, maybe 500 or 700 rpm? I do enjoy all of your feedback though!

Get Head studs, turn it up, run some meth, try to get 500WHP.

Im tuned at 26psi by kevin d. On his dyno on pump gas was about 415hp. I will be on a dynojet soon. The evo is currently in the shop getting the exedy twin plate on and building my tranny up. I will post the numbers as soon as get on the dynojet. boost is at about 3600.

Ive been running a GT30R single scroll, big tube (full race) for 20-30k miles. You hardly notice the lag. My car makes around 400whp at 23-24psi.
I am wanting to get cams/intake manifold/and meth and have a true 500whp at 26-28psi.. Id be needing a clutch though.
I think the HTA3076R is going to be very impressive.

The only thing I don't know about is the ARP headstuds, I am having doubts about using the 1x1 install method.
Also, I am afraid how much of any easy time they will have doing to the tune with the 1000cc injectors on my Stock IX ecu.
