HTA 3076 and stuff on my IX MR
I just ordered
ETS's HTA3076 Kit (with ceramic coating on the manifold, also wastegate is a dump style)
GSC S2 Cams for the IX
ARP Headstuds/Rodbolts
Beehive springs
980CC Injectors
I already have
Megan Midpipe/Catback (Megan downpipe & tubular manifold on stock turbo but all those are coming off)
ETS Intake, 3.5" FMIC, LICP & UICP w/ minibattery
255 Walbro Fuel Pump
I scored 324/313 @ AMS's dyno with these mods. Going to have everything tuned by AMS again after I finish putting this stuff on the car.
Any ideas?

For some reason I feel like their dyno reads lower than other dynojets due to the numbers being put out versus track times. I'm going to say 400ishwhp on pump gas levels, maybe a little more. Then, anything up to 550whp maxing the turbo out. Have fun with it.

If AMS tuned your car in the 1st place then you numbers are fine. A GT3076 SHOULD make 420-450WHP (especially on a IX) on just pump gas. They run out of breath at 500WHP which is why I think a RED would be much better, fatter mid range and use of stock style parts is always better.
With that said you should be able to get a high trap, at least 118MPH or so and hold boost till 8000RPMS no problems.
Id' say if you want a 3076R, get a red, then next step after a RED is a GT35R HTA, that's it, everything else is inferior.

Jon picked out a setup that is going to be perfect for his needs, he is not looking to push the envelope on his car, he wanted a fast spooling turbo with decent top end and the ability to upgrade easily down the road.
The good thing about going with a Turbo Kit sooner then later is he won't be throwing his money away on a ported exhaust manifold, upgraded o2 housing, upgraded downpipe, new lower pipe, etc. The only thing that will need to be changed is a switch of a turbo. Most people can't get into a red for under 2200-2400 unless you run your stock o2 housing, downpipe, lower pipe, etc.

I did some comparisons on the ETS website for the HTA3076r and the GT3076r and from low to high the range was roughly $3200-$4300. The below kit with all the fixings was on the high side.

I'm a fan of the stock ECU which is why I'd choose the recirculation option. I'm open to suggestions if I can run the regular wastegate setup as opposed to the recirculation route. The polished treatment is something that I would want to do as I'm not afraid of folks knowing my car was/is fast.

Again, I'd run E85 which means I'd have to spend $325 on either some 1000cc or 1200cc injectors and $675 on the double pump set up. When it's all said and done, the grand total is roughly $3,178 (without tax). This is roughly the same amount as the GT3076r turbo kit.
To my ETS brothers in arms...
1. What are the size differences between the 3076 turbo and the FP Red turbo?
2. What are the spool differences between the GT3076, GT3076r and HTA3076r?
3. Can I run the normal wastegate option as opposed to the recirculation option with the stock ECU?
I'm not sure what the OPs goals are for his car but if staying on pump gas I'd say he made a good decision because just as some have mentioned, the option of upgrading down the line would be cheaper and prevent him from starting another "For Sale" thread. I'd be interested in seeing some comparions between the FP Red on pump at 30PSI and the 3076 turbos on 30PSI.

I want to be a mod just for this section; it's getting so cluttered with the "what ifs" and is driving me nuts trying to sift through the crap to get actual data.
