When and where can we purchase this 33r? Is it not on the market yet?

There are so many combos it give even me a headache!

OP, it’s all about what you want.

Fast Spool, top end, pump, meth, E85, stock frame, T3, T4, TwinScroll, Single Scroll, GT, HTA...etc… It’s just crazy what you want and can do now days.

If you are running stock bottom end and want a good pump gas turbo, I would go Twin Scroll HTA3586. A normal HTA3586 spools mid-upper 4k with killer topend. This would be the safest setup on stock block. The reason being that your tq will only be around 400 if you were around 550hp. There are also a lot of things you can do to keep tq lower, as tq is what blows your motor, not the HP. This is very safe with a 3586 producing 600hp on pump. If you have the right setup it’s not that hard to reach into the mid and upper 500s... The biggest help on reaching high numbers on pump with a 3586 will be a Magnus Manifold. You will be able to run much more timing and boost.

The next best thing is your cam setup. Playing around with a cam combo can be fun. If you want more tq and faster spool, a larger intake cam with a smaller exhasut cam will get that for you. This however will take away some of the topend but once again its hard to have the best of both worlds. I played around with my cams on my stock turbo setup and was happy with my gains. I'm only running a mild setup. HKS 272/280. I use to have a 272/272 but swapped out the exhaust cam with a 280 and I gained 15hp+ from 6-8k but lost like 100rpm spool. To me that was nothing to worry about on the stock turbo. The stock turbos need all the help they can get above 6k!

Personally I would go FP Red on Meth or E85 and shoot for 550hp on 35lbs.

If you want to keep your 3076 send that baby into FP and HTA it. You can reach 550 with meth and 30+ lbs on a decent setup with supporting mods! Spool will be about 3.8-4k with a GSC or Kelford cam setup. That would be a pretty decent setup! I have seen that having small cams on a 3076 will hinder spool. My friend has an AMS 30R with Works cams (269/269 I think), and his car spools like a god damn 35R. It’s really about having a good combo and what works well with what.

Good luck bro

^^ Interesting results from switching to an HKS 280 on your stock turbo...I wonder what a stock intake cam and an HKS 280 exhaust cam would do....From memory, this is what folks tried back in early '06 and it did not seem to yield the same results you saw...I wonder if ECU tuning (in the MIVEC maps) has improved such that the 280 shines...Thanks for sharing

I think that the MIVEC may have something to do with it. Here is my dyno https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...-tq-hks280.jpg

I put on a 25psi wastegate and turned boost up to 35lbs. I didn't even pick up 1 hp going from 30-35lbs, I lost 1.5 hp. on 35lbs I made lots of power/torque from 3.5k-6k. After 6k the turbo was so heat soked and so far past its effeciency, shaft speed in the upper 150k prob, that it just can't flow/make anymore power. Here is my dyno https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7314465-post62.html It has hella midrange! it will break the tires out in first and second I'm going back for a retune on my Magnus and a 3in external dump 02 housing and hoping to hit 450hp but going to try and get my tq down to 425ish. 450tq is a lot on stock block.
