Might as well huh? I just want my tuner to know it will be my fault if it blows because I am going into this knowing full well the possible outcomes lol.

On a side note, my red just left Commerce City Colorado so its half way home! Gotta pick up a serpintine belt and a balance shaft belt and I am set to put this hog back together.

Lol naw man..sorry I dont keep u updated but I want to do some hill climbs and autox so the red will be my best bet. the turbo is in slc now. Hopefuly get it tomorrow.

No worries i guess i'll be shipping the one i have out to FP today!

Tony were you able to find out if yours had the new updates or not

When you get it please post up some pics of this newly modified comp housing and any other modifications

i think your motor will be fine with a GOOD tune- you will have to just do a little bit more maitenance to keep everything else from breaking

Yeah thats my belief as well...Jake Montgomery aka EvilEagle does my tuning on teh AEM and he is a master.

My turbo is now in Heyburn, Idaho!!! I'm assuming it will be in Boise and out for delivery tomorrow!

Thats exactly what this thread was all about...me trying to gain some confidence that my rods wont kick through the block lol....My red has left Heyburn, ID which is 170 miles away like 2 hours ago...I will get it tomorrow.

let us all know what happens, because i have 78k on my car right now but getting ready to order my red, and kinda weiry about slapping it on and boostin it up on a stock bottom end

Don't worry man...there a like 5 guinea pigs in this thread..one guy has 146,000 miles and is putting one on...but yes I will post a thread to report success and/or failure.
