New O2 sensor, now won't Start HELP!!!

I installed a new Bosch O2 sensor (15733) using the following· EVO - Bosch· Blue - Black· White - Grey· Black(2) - White (2) Now the car will not start, turns over but no start. Tried to read the codes using an OBDII and kept getting a “Fail” message. Did I some how screw up the ECU? This is my nephews car and I really hope I did mot mess it up. Note:Reattached the old sensor and still will not start

Left it unconnected for 10-15 min's, no change. Additional info: I pulled the spark plug wire from the coil and did not get a spark when I jumped the coil to ground when cranking the engine.

Sounds like you fried the ecu. You can unplug the 02 sensor, have a bad one and it will start. It will throw a code, but it will run.

Did you disconnect the negative battery terminal before doing any work?

I'm praying it's not the ECU, and no I did not disco the battery but was VERY carefull to be sure no wires crossed. I'll check fuses tomorrow, any idea of which ones to look at?

Definitely check your fuses. I'm not sure how you could fry an ecu by changing the o2 sensor, maybe if you attempted to attach a tazer to the o2 harness. You didn't did you? Didn't think so. Your engine bay fuse box will have a diagram on the inside of the lid, check every fuse that has a picture of an engine corresponding to it's position. After that check the rest for good measure.

The O2 sensor has 12 power, ground, shield, and signal. Do the math......
