Cost of coolant flush?
I think it's time to get my coolant flush out. I've had this car for about 4 years now, got about 33k on it. I've never done this before and haven't find any useful tutorials to help out. I did some google search and found tutorials on other cars, but not evos. I'm quite surprise that there is no picture turorial about this topics. So if I decided to have a shop do it, how much would it normally cost?

I just got my evo, but with my lancer it was simple. There is a valve on the bottom of the radiator, turn it, and the fluid comes out. Close the valve and pour the new fluid in through the top.

Block drain plug is below the intake manifold... looks like a B*tch to get to... anyone have any advice to removing that?
If you simply drain your fluid and fill up, your not "flushing" the system..

I too would like to know how to change the coolant in my evo 9...any one got any pics or anything?
also does a coolant flsuh mean they just drain and replace fluid or do they run a stream of water through the system to clear any deposits?

u can do that urself with a gallon of distilled water when u flush it. just remove the bottom rad hose, drain the original fluid, and while its open pour in another gallon to completely flush the system or actualy use a garden hose, for few mins. then fill up and close.
