I'm positive if you purchased a Buschur 2.3 shortblock and you were to call Buschur Racing up and ask them the procedure to break it in they'd help you out immediately.

That's the best solution opposed to making a thread here and getting 1000 different opinions on what oils to use and how to break it in.

If you don't have a phone handy, then you can go to Buschur's forum on their website..Dave has an outlined engine break in procedure posted for people to follow if they wish.

Break it like your going to drive it. Always have always will. Plus Buschur put out a thread I think.

Just need to buy like 15 qts of ****ty non synthetic oil. You want to change it after starting it and letting heat up. Then change it.

Then put some more in it and start re-tuning. The ****ty oil lets the rings seat better.

Did you steal the motor? When you got it did they not tell you what to do? Did you not ask any questions? It seems weird that you are coming here to ask this. Have fun with that motor!

Are you serious?

David would have sent you instructions or the shop you purchased it from would have advised you as to what to do.

This is a bit strange in my book.

Follow them. He doesn't have them for no reason.
