Third gear stutter

Third gear stutter
I am having a problem in third gear, when the car hits 6000 rpm it stutters and makes a loud popping noise that does not sound like a backfire. The car is fine all the way to redline in first and second. This only started after i had a new clutch and flywheel put in, i do not know if the two things are related but just trying give all the information i can. I have no idea what could be causing this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

could be spark, fuel, even a boost leak.
