Question about tuning Lancer EVO 03

Hi there,

Since a few weeks ago, i just bought my EVO 03 and im asking myself some questions.

I want to put some upgrade to gain power but i don’t want to put a 5000$ for now…

Where should i start ? I’m sure that i can put a little more boost on this stock car and with a little programmation too. Did i’m right ?

Is the basic like injector, fuel pump is recommended to start ?

Im waiting for your answers…. Thanks

exhaust, tune and upped boost will be cheap and be a noticable difference.
check the stickies though. they hold a plethora of starter info like this, but these are the first steps for any turbo car.
from the factory they are always rich/detuned and held back with the exhaust

there is no order really. There are some things that make more sense then others though.

IE Exhaust before cams
Fuel pump before injectors.
ect
ect
ect

depends on how far you wanna go.
Honestly Id just do a turbo back exhaust setup and maybe up the boost a tad and tune it and see how you like it. Next I would prob think about a fuel pump before you go any further. Wideband is deff a good thing to have in the car all the time.

I like to always start with an Exhaust an intake and the Inter cooler(IC, UICP, LICP) stuff and then a tune.

that make sense...

i think this will be just fine for now.... and maybe, if i win at the lotery i will buy this 10.5 cm turbine or bigger... is it the best or im sure there a another monsters turbo recommended for the EVO.... !?!
