I hear good things. I don't own one myself though. I have it on my list.

Lubricate your underhood shifter bushings, Redline tranny fluid, a short-shifter, and a knob of your choice (personal preference).

I have the Fidanza short-shifter and Skunk2 knob.

Fidanza shifter review; and if you read it, you'll notice that the exact same ones can be found on eBay for much cheaper: http://www.mitsustyle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19267

I use the redline cocktail mix. However, the most noticible change came with the torque damper. If you play with it and adjust it just right you can get the tranny to go throgh the gears like a hot knife through butter.

I notice I can shift the car from first to second quickly if I shift @ 6500rpm rather than bringing it all the way to 7000rpm. Maybe clutch disengagement issues? It has OEM clutch & lines with ATE Super Blue fluid for the brakes & hydrolic clutch...

I will try to lube the shifter bushings though. Oh I had warranty work done maybe 8000 miles ago & they replaced they tranny fluid with new oem.

I've never had a problem shifting but I'm not really a fan of the knocking feeling in the rear when your slamming gears around. So what's a good option for the torque dampener?

I went with Royal Purple fluid (had no other choice, emergency situation)
I have Perrin Shifter Bushings, AMS SS Clutch line, Exedy Twin Disc Clutch, OEM Shifter and Knob, SS Clutch Slave Rod, and my car shifts so so so smooth, i love it
