Thanks for the responses! 6262 looks to be the turbo to get because of the price. If for some reason the FP 3586 was cheaper than the 6262 would you guys still opt for the Precision? A friend of mine is hard up for cash and thinking about selling his and its brand new in the FP box, never installed with the 3" .82 exhaust housing. So thats why I was asking for opinions with price out of the equation. I was dead set on getting the 6262 until now and that FP HTA turbo is very tempting for the low price he's selling it for. I just wanted to make sure its just as good as the 6262.

End yes, I will be turning up the boost a little...

Up the shot or up the boost, either way you already have a 9sec combo.

Buschur took off the 6262 to leave on the hta86. So it does perform better but at a higher cost. atleast on the dyno on the same car.

I think the HTA is a little bit better, but for the added cost its not worth it IMO.

Don't be confused. Unless I am missing something, the base 6262 with journal bearing is around $999, but when you upgrade to ball bearing, then the price is about the same as the ball bearing HTA86.

at least as far as ETS is concerned. the cost difference from the 6262 BB and HTA86 is 400.00.

At 5800' I would go with the HTA. Not sure if anyone out here is running a HTA3586 but there are a few 6262's... Be different and set a record. Good luck, you have a great platform!

If your not going to go with the 3586, I would like it if you passed the info on who is looking to sell this turbo to me, so I can see about picking it up. Please let me know either way.

Thanks,
