HTA3586 vs 6262 turbo

Trying to decide between the FP HTA GT3586R and the Precision 6262. From what I read, its almost a toss up between the two turbo's. I know Buschur is running a custom HTA 3586 on his 9 second RS with a 3" exhaust outlet. My goal is to hit 9's at 5800ft this summer (without nitrous). Any thoughts on these two snails?

Can't go wrong either way. Either one will provide you with a lot better powerband than the 37R on there now. Each one is more than capable to get you to your goal of a 9 sec pass. FWIW, I'm using a PTE6262 with .82a/r housing..I'm shooting for low 9's too Good luck!

On my Talon I ran the 4202 and it worked great (top mount, dual wastegates). But I keep forgeting how light it was compared to the EVO's.

I sure like the 6262 after seeing what AWDmotorsports ran with his car.

I love the 6262.. It has great balance for street and strip.. As mentioned above we ran 8's with it and street tested it on several occassions with great success.. For the price NOTHING beats it IMO..

Agreed with Mike and Sharky, 6262 is my pick. The HTA is an awesome turbo, dont get me wrong, but the price of the 6262 makes it more appealing all around.
