Can I replace the front O2 sensor with a wideband on the stock ECU?

Not only will it throw a code, I think that's a little too close to the turbo for a wideband. I think they usually say it's supposed to be a certain distance from the turbo, right?

You can replace the Front 02 with another Front 02.

I placed my Wideband o2 sensor in the stock rear o2 bung.

WB's must be 12-13'' away from the turbo.

No I didn't damage it I'm just midway into a turbo swap and about to get the o2 bung welded in and was wondering if I could throw my extra UEGO on instead.

Anser is no sir. The front 02 bung is to close as its been metioned. Ull either burn ur 02 up in the wideband and or it wont read correctly.
