does anyone have the ETS intercooler kit- core, licp, uicp?

does it have any fitment issues or do you have to cut the bumper at all?

thinking about buying it and selling my agp licp, what do you guys think, is it a good intercool kit and will i gain anything from it?

Hello,

You won't see any fitment issues, but. You will have to cut the crash beam if you decide to go larger then 3.5" for intercooler thickness. Everything is a direct bolt on and includes silicone, clamps and all mounting hardware.

The lower pipe is one of the best bang for buck mods, we have seen 12-18whp gain over stock with our LP2.

The upper pipe is a great upgrade to remove the old/worn stock rubber hose. The stock rubber hose has a tendency to expand and contract under pressure and pop off. We remedy this problem by providing 2.5" steel piping with silicone and t-bolt clamps. The good thing about steel piping is it allows you to clamp the t-bolt as tight as possible without destroying/bending the tubing.

If you have any questions or would like to get one going, let me know!

Thanks,

Michael

Do it. You won't regret it. The quality and craftsmanship is top notch. The fittment is perfect too. A 3" core will do you just fine. You don't have to cut a thing, it all bolts right on. Hardest part is picking which color piping, and if you want the core anodized! lol

ETS Michael, I had the 4" kit on my old evo 8, only thing I had to do was bend two small brackets on the crash bar to make it fit.

I have a 3.5" Kit and I had no issue with it. Even on their website it says "trim here" I didn't even have to do that it went on like a glove.

The 3.0" works great on the stock turbo, I recommend the 3.5" if you plan on going with a bigger turbo down the road. It's easier to spend the $100.00 now then have to worry about selling your old intercooler and buying another one down the road. It also fits behind the crash beam!

Thanks!

Michael
