Is it ok to port turbine..
..housing? I have a 10.5 hotside and was wondering if i can port the inducer's diffuser? i think thats what is called.. i dont know if it will ruin the turbine from maximum spool, so thought i ask before going any further.. heres pic of what am talking about.. Tia

The divider between the twin scrolls on the inducer side of the turbine (the larger side of the turbine wheel) can be touched up to smooth the transition from the housing to the wheel contact area. The EXDUCER side of the turbine side is where the exhaust flows out of the turbine and into the O2 housing area, and yes, this area can be ported. The 'outside' is more critical than the 'inside' of the turn.

One more point, the true inducer side of the turbine hot side can be ported as deeply as you can reach, but I did it through the 'intake' side of the housing which is the area of your 'right' arrow. I made my own tools to reach deep into the twin scroll area leading up to the 'thin divider' just before the turbine blades.

Ok so, the exducer side, the edge of turbine that discharges exhaust into 10.5 .. can i port it say 2mm, or can it go a little more? prolly not huh.. The 'outside' is exducer right, or inducer?
