Bang Noise under Hard Braking?

Does anyone else experience this? Tried a search, nothing came up - it sounds like some sort of drivetrain related sound, a really loud bang like when you shift too aggresively and the drivetrain's not ready..
(is what it sounds like when I am braking hard)

Your topic says under hard breaking, while you say you shift too agressively?

If the sound is when you shift too fast and you can hear the sound from the back, then it's the rear diff hitting your chasis.

But you really should try to explain the situation a bit more into detail - what kind of sound, where does it come from, conditions for the sound.

And trust me, if you search for drivetrain sound on EvoM, you'll come up with more results than you can ever read

No, he is comparing the noise to an aggressive shift, but saying it happens under heavy braking. Mine did the same thing, but then I tightened the bolts on the chassis support bars under the exhaust and it went away.

Or what i was going to ask/suggest, Is did you recently have your brake pads replaced or any other work done?

Had a buddy that was to lazy to do it himself once, and not only were his lugs loose..... the guy didnt even tighten done the caliper bolts!!!

Thanks for the help guys -

Yeah, it makes a banging sound like a drivetrain noise, but it's from when i dig pretty hard/deep into the brakes. Just from the front - I'll try tightening up some of the bolts etc up there.
Everything I've had on the car I've had for a while, so I'm not sure what it is.

Experimenting with the noise/braking a little more today, it kind of sounds like how if your cars been through some heavy rain, and the brakes are completely rusted, and kind of stuck, they make a slight banging noise when you break them free.. sounds similar to that.
