tranny oil leak

ok so i got my evo back from the shop about a week ago and i noticed it had an extremly slow leak coming from where the tranny and transfer case connect. I told them about it and we both thought that one of the two o rings between the tranny and t/c was damaged so i took it back to the shop and they took the t/c off and replaced both o rings. when i got home i put a piece of paper under it to make sure it wasnt leaking yet. I came back a couple hours later and of course there was a puddle the size of a 50 cent piece. does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I had the same leak, one of the o-rings got pinched while putting the t-case and tranny back together and I replaced it and had no problems. It's possible that yours did the same again. Otherwise, I'm clueless.

I can't think of any other reason that it would leak other than a pinched/torn o-ring.
