I say do the FP HTA 3586R. From everything I have read about the HTA 35 turbo's, the .86 spools 2-300 RPM later than the .82 on a stock 2.0L. it Should be at full spool around 3600 RPM.
And I dont know **** about the PTE 6262 other than it is a Frickin' MONSTER of a turbo and that it is to small for a 2.0l to be effective.

3586 and 6262 are pretty evenly matched, but the 6262 is better priced. The 3582 wont make as much power but will spool a bit quicker. If you wont be tuning for 700+whp but still want 500+ go with either the 3582 or Precision 6062.

(1) Whatever these turbos spool at sea level means little to you. They will all spool slower in Denver (at altitude). Think about how that affects your driving habits.
(2) The FP Red is capable of spooling faster than any larger turbo, and when configured properly, one would have to make a good deal more power with a larger turbo to catch up to the Red.
The power potential of the Red is making it increasingly difficult to justify larger turbos for street use.

Two things for you to consider:

Never buy a PTE ball bearing turbo unless you want to be replacing them every 10k. I come from the disregarded land of dsms, and i have PROOF these BB turbos **** the bed quite often. Stick to a FP turbo or a MHI turbo. FP def. know their ****, and their turbos are VERY nice. But im sure you know that.

I'm going with the FP 3586.
