Coolant overflow problem!

hey, just wanted to see if anyone can help me figure out whats going on with my car,.. i just got it tuned on aem ems on my fp red turbo. i have stock head besides hks 280 cams. i am running a stock block with stock head gasket just arp headstuds. i have 97,000 miles on my car but it has been very well maintained. oil changes with mobile 1 ever 3k. anyways, my car is tuned at 30psi making alittle over 500whp. i having a coolant problem. everytime i boost the car the coolant overflow fills up and then over flows all the coolant out. my mechanic re- tightend my head studs to 100 ft/lbs tq. and it stopped for a day and now it started doing it again. could this be a head gasket issue?? please throw some i ideas out of what this could be so i can get it fixed asap before something really breaks! thanks!

+1 for a head gasket issue. I don't know how much you can tq the headstuds before you risk warping the head, or damaging the block. I would pick up an aftermarket headgasket too..

when the arp studs went in was it the 1X1 method or did you take the head off and replace the gasket?

if it is the Hg, which seams like a good possibly, I would avoid boosting because you potentialy hydrolock your engine on coolant

Sounds like you are lifting the head and boost is getting into your cooling system, and now you are pushing coolant.
That is the terminology used.

Your ARP head studs may also have stretched.

You need to do 3 things, 1 change the old ARP studs for L19's bolts, and 2 replace the head gasket.
3, I would check the head to make sure is not warped before bolting everything down.

That should solve the problem, .
