Labonte's - what is now their STG II high boost kit.

They use a solenoid just previous to the nozzle. Not only does it keep it from siphoning, it keeps fluid in the line behind the solenoid for immediate response... So I just keep the solenoid close to the nozzle. Only a foot or two of line between the two. And I don't have the problems you mentioned.

I was familiar with Snow, and these kits were relatively similar when I was deciding. So I opened an account with LMS. Although recently they have all been upgraded.

We've gone through with a hand pump on the controllers and kicked the kits on in varying stages of boost, and while the pattern isn't exactly the same throughout the pump duty cycle range, it's far from a problem.

By the time that is coming on the air speed in the charge piping will over come any small inconsistencies in pattern anyway.

Food for thought.

Ok, well since you want to turn this into a alky thread and not about the head, do you have a decent safegaurd setup? That is the point of mapswitching really, to drop boost, level out AFR, and pull back timing if/when there is an issue with the alky system.

Get one now or cry later

Buttoned up everything but the undertray and the strut-tower bar after work and made it out to Wagner's Drive-in with some friends tonight. Felt so good to drive the car again! It's a ton of fun, but needs some tuning. Time for logging and a visit to Shane@DB performance.
