HTA Green vs. BBK

I'll be posting a review of the BBK vs. HTA Green soon (same car, same conditions, etc.). Just looking at the reported flow ratings the turbos I suspect I will see 40 - 50 whp more with the HTA Green. What will be interesting is reporting on the 'transient response' as that is something a dyno cannot answer.

Absolutely and I'll be using the larger compressor housing (84mm ??). I personally believe (as Robert has documented) that the oil pressure can be an issue for stock framed turbos pushed to the ~30+ psi range. Maybe that is why my BBK died....

With the big cover, and once you install the Kelfords it should be a beastly ride! Will you be going to speed density and a 4" intake? Are you still on the stock clutch, though? Whatever, good luck!

So on Fp's site it says conversion to the hta green is $869. If I want the 84mm housing is that an additional $150, oil line $150 and porting $100? So for a pimped out ported green, I'm lookin at $1270? Is this correct or is any of the above included? Bbk full ported is gonna be $1350?

Guys - the FP is cheaper apples to apples...you don't NEED to get a better WGA....You don't NEED to get a different intake...You don't NEED to get the larger compressor housing.
You should get the upgraded oil line though....And if I had a BBK I would get the FP oil line based on FPs data....

Don't need the kit just the oil feed line, but fp said now the price went up to $250 from $150. Could do without the actuator but it seems as though the compressor housing is a must. Can the stock bottom end handle this turbo?
