Kelford 272s

Fellow Kelford 272 owners, i'm having a situation where since i've installed these cams, i have had all sorts of issues to keep my car from stalling while @ idle.

I'd like to know if anybody on Stock ECU is sharing the same problem?

I'm about to make the drastic decision to go AEM just b/c i know that with AEM u can have JUN cams and the AEM will put those cams on a leash while @ idle.

kelfords are one of the hardest cams to tune for idle, my idle is good sometimes and it seems at different times and it can get a little crazy.

I've got settings you can use to make them tame at idle. My car also died before I adjusted things.

First off, have you already made adjustments to anything?

Correct it idles 100%, 1 minute then the next dies down to 500 rpm then the car makes the decision of either dying or flying up to 2000k rpms

- Timing at idle 9 degrees from 0-40 load and 0-1000 RPM
- Set and rescale your idle tables like I've done.

Better image added.

Also, there are a lot more ISCV tables that were recently discovered for the stock ECU. Not to mention you can also run SD with the stock ECU if you think it's maf based.

Keep working at it. Getting is a good idle with Kelfords and the stock ECU is not that hard to get.

Mine idles a bit rough, but I've never had a stalling issue with it. Then again, I could easily have it tuned out... but I prefer the lope
