It's been done but it's a billion times more trouble than it's worth. You'd need to either fab an exhaust manifold or use the EVOVIII manifold and a 1" thick spacer to make the turbo clear the engine, then you'll need to ditch power steering and relocate the alternator to the back, which means losing AC. Then you'll have to relocate your MAF/filter to the pass. side since the turbo will be facing that way (unless you've got a blow-thru setup or speed density). Then you'll have to fab the turbo outlet/lower IC piping. And make a custom o2 housing/downpipe setup.

Just buy a DSM specific turbo such as an EVO3 16g and call it a day.

Buy a used DSM-specific turbo and save yourself tons of hassle. Or, contact FP about rebuilding your T28 and maybe turning it into a Big28.

Should just bolt up, I don't see why not! I heard you can bolt a dsm manifold and turbo onto a F22 honda motor so why not this?

If it don't fit just get y'erself a pile-o-jbweld and zip ties and get to work! ANYTHING is possible with these things.

you guys realize that the intake pipe and turbo is facing the other way on the DSM compared to Evo. By bolting on a evo8 turbo + mani, you have to put the maf sensor and filter on the power steering bracket.

i dont think you can run an VIII turbo on a gsx.

An evo turbo's wheel is opened to the left side of the car, a GSX turbo is opened to the right of the car.....

spinning the turbo around will not work IMO

i could be wrong thou.
