TCASE pulled for the 3rd time, all seals replaced..STILL LEAKING....WTF!! (PICS)

I am at a loss of words. I have been trying to install an 04 RS TC into my 04 Evo that was worked over by Jon at TRE. Every time I put her in, she leaks. Same spot every time. I should invest stock in AMSOIL.

I have replaced the small o ring, the larger o ring, and the oil seal on the transfer case. I made sure to make sure there were no burrs or marks that could be tearing the seals/ o rings. Nothing.

Pics of leak:

Pics of cleaned off TC:

As soon as I put her back in, I notice a small drip by the rear bottom bolt. So we took it out and filled it up on my oil drain as level as possible....no leaks.

Someone please help me for the love of god. I can;t keep spending money on AMSOIL like this.

From today:

Last week when I attempted:

I am so sick of this car.....

Leaking like half dollar size puddles every time you park her?

I sent this out for the specific reason of not having any down time. I have faith in Jon at TRE, there has to be some thing astray here.

That little hole by the top next to one of the top bolt holes should have a o-ring on it. It is not there in your pics. Make sure it is there.

I had issues with mine. Had a hairline crack where the tcase goes into the trans (in the pic where you are spraying it). Check there with a magnifying glass. Have you tried filling it outside of the car then diagnosing the leak?

LEak is coming from BEHIND the seal most likely.. Take it out, clean, use rtv or similar, install all new seals..Also soak the o-ring in atf fluid for a min or 2 before you put that guy in there just to be one the safe side..

Okay guys, I am retarded. This last time that my buddy and I pulled her out was the winner.

There was a little residual left behind from the install and I thought she was leaking again.

I imagine it was the smaller o ring on top that cured it, since I did nothing else different.

That little $2 o ring cost me a lot of time and money.

Thanks for everyones help. I would have never thought of that small o ring with out my earlier post.
