question about oem tranny, tcase, rear diff fluid

I've 2003 evo8 and looking to buy oem fluids, but its cofusing as hell. these are the two items I saw on the lanceshop.com

but, for the dia queen super multi gear oil can't be use in tranny? why is that?
Evolution MR 8/9 Dia Queen Super Multi Gear Oil

Product Description
We strongly suggest running the OEM fluids in the EVO MR transfer case and the Rear diff. What we have here is a 4 Litter jug of OEM EVO MR Diaqueen Mitsubishi fluid.
TECH TIP: First fluid change recommended at 5,000 miles. Subsequent changes recommended at 5000-7500 miles depending on the severity of the use. This fluid is NOT to be used in the tranny, we suggest using the BG syncroshift for the transmission.
Installation Instructions: EVO Transfer Case Fluid Change Tutorial
Fits: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, IX
Part # MZ313376

I know this post is old, but i'm bumping it up anyway. almost all of the retailers have this info wrong, as they have the same description of both super multi gear oil and LSD Gear oil. On top of that, they all cut and pasted from each other. so pretty much everyone is wrong.

The first picture - "Super Multi Gear Oil" - IS used on the transmission. But ONLY on MR Models.

The second picture - "LSD Gear Oil" - IS NOT used on any tranny, but IS used in the Transfer Case and Rear Diff.

5 Speed evo's can use aftermarket tranny oil or oem "New Multi Gear Oil"

In closing, if the oil you are looking at is close to 100 dollars it's MR transmission oil. If the oil is close to 50 bucks, it's the gear oil you're looking at.
