Serpentine Belt Tensioning: How?
Howdy.
Serpentine belt broke. Replaced. Getting it in now, only needs to slide over the power steering pump and I'll be done.
However, not quite figuring out how this tensioner works.
Picture included as an attachment. We've removed the tensioner bolt, and were expecting it to, ya know, just sort of swivel or something. It doesn't.
Thanks!

Use a 1/2 inch ratchet and turn it counterclockwise until you see the two holes line up. Stick a screwdriver or something into those two holes to hold the tensioner into position. The tensioner bolt does not need to come off at all.

It well could be. Looking at this picture, from Joe250: http://www.joe250.com/cars/evo8/belt...tensioner2.jpg
It does look different.
How... odd.
