Maybe the previous owner painted it black?

If you know your production date what are you talking about it being "an older Evo"? You know when it was built.

Yes. Previous front end damage is likely.

Any suggestions on things I should check now?I'm about to void my warranty and start modding. What else can I do besides check the intercooler pipes are tight? Is there a way I can change that AC condenser pipe?

Do you still have the VIN stickers on the bumper and fenders?

Why would u want to change the ac condenser pipe just because of the color?

3.0" , 3.5" , 4.0" , 5.0" and 6.0"

The 3.0" and 3.5" fit without modification.. a 4.0" can fit as well, but it will be touching the bumper beam, we recommend trimming on 4.0" and above.

Thanks!
