Engine build finally complete, yeah.

After a long while of the Evo being down do to an Intake Manifold Vacum Line poping out on a WOT run, my Engine is now completed and tuned.

Thanks to Procco(Eddie), Felix, and apagan(Andy) for their advise in this long engine building process. They helped me pick and choose the parts, the engine builder, and alot of the things.

Also thanks to Pollo Performance Racing, my Engine Builder for the amazing job he did in putting everything together. From balancing and blue printing, to the custom machine work and fabrication he did on this build.

And Frank at Xtremeboost for his support and advise on many things as well. Thank you for allowing me to look at your work, and learn to do many things on my own, some times using your work tools.

Many thanks also to the Titan Motorsports guys, Mike at AWD Motorsports, the guys at AMS Performance, the guys at Force Performance, the Engineers at Carrillo and CP Pistons, Kami Speed, the crew at Tilton, for the great customer service and price in all the parts. And big Valley Performance for the Dyno facility.

And finally many thanks to Jester Tuning(John) for his amazing tuning work.

The good thing that came out of this is that I did all the tech work, so I now know where every nut and bult goes on in this sucker .

Parts used in this engine:

2.0L
CP Pistons 9.0 87mm Titan
Carrillo Pro H rods w/custom bolts Titan
Clevite Main/Rod Bearings including Thrust Bearings AMS

Fidansa Gears Titan
L19 Head Bolts Titan
LC1 Wideband Innovative

Amsoil intake filter and engine oil 20-50
More things like electronics, knobs, etc.

The car was tuned on pump 93 gas to 458 whp and 419 Tq at 29.1 psi.
On race gas(Q16) it made 558 whp at 36 psi.

I left the graphs at the tuning shop with all the exciment . I will post them later.

We wanted more, and actually made a run at 39.9 psi, but let off because the car went lean for a moment and knocked. After 4 hours on the Dyno fine tuning the pump and race gas dual maps, it was time to call it done for the night.

We will continue another day, adjusting cams and also adding more timing to the car.
The car rear differential was damaged during the last few pulls. It is running, but the unit will be replaced in a day or two.

Here are some pictures of the initial damage that happened to the engine and Turbine Wheel, and the progress and parts used during the build.
The block and head were perfect if you can believe it.

The last pictures are of the car.

It looks so stock from the out side .

Thank you for reading.

The following is of a compression test I did the day after the Dyno. Very nice and even on all the cilinders, 1-4.
