Subframe studs broke?
Guys
I've done about 4 Evo clutches for local guys, and this time I decided I was going to drop the subframe for my next customer.
I previously had dropped the subframe on another car to install a front sway bar and bushing kit, so I am familiar with the process, however, I've run into a small problem
The front most nut/stud for the subframe is now spinning. I got the nut approximately 1/4" from being uninstalled, and then the stud started spinning. I cant see any access holes at all from the top side, and it looks like the stud is potentially supposed to be welded into place......
If anyones run into this or knows how I can remove that nut and fix the stud, please respond. I can post pics if needed.
Thanks
Andy
