ATP EVO GOLD Turbo- Aussie Made
#16
I have been running this turbo for over 5000km in my car. It's got an amazingly quick spool. It nearly as quick as the standard turbo. (about 100-150rpm slower spool than a standard.)
In regards to power it seems to be making about 15% more than an FP Green throughout the entire rev range.
As this is turbo is relatively new there aren't many car running this turbo yet so still waiting for more results. The results that I have seen so far are impressive.
The winner of the sprint races at the Australian Dutton Rally is running this turbo.
As in regards to the price... I agree it's a little on the steep side...but it's designed and hand made in a small workshop here in Melbourne. Generally low production items cost more. If the results keep on coming in as impressive as they have been... it might well be worth the extra money... that my reasoning.
Until now no FP Green or Tomei have been able to match it's power with the same supporting mods here in Australia.
It seems to be making similar power to the FP Reds without the lag.
There is plenty of information on the Evolutionoz forum site but you need to be a member to read the threads.

Once again us Aussies are not as brave as you guys and we generally run lower boost... So it will be interesting when more results come from the U.S.
Actually the fastest and highest powered standard engined EVO in Australia is running the ATP EVO GOLD.

Sounds like there are a bunch of new OEM-like turbos - BBK Full, HTA Green, as well as the ever popular FP Red, MAP SST, Tomei, this one, etc...All in all this should help the consumer ....As for $2500 for a turbo - that seems way to high for the marketplace IMHO...

I've read the opening post and I really don't see anything that constitutes this kind of reply. All he asked for was reviews from people that are using this product. YOU, SHOULD GO AWAY AND COME BACK WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING POSITIVE TO CONTRIBUTE.
