Different story all together.

If 65mm is a bottle neck for your setup, then yeah get the bigger one, and 3" IC pipes too.....but if the in and out are smaller that the TB diameter, then I stand by my argument that there is no gains from a gigantic TB.... I will even argue that it is the wrong thing to do all together, fluids like constants, so a massive change in diameter, in terms of fluid flow in a pipe is a bad idea, big or small.

I just want the facts to be straight here... for a normal, probably 90%, evo owners out there this thing will do nothing over the standard 65mm ported TBs available except change your throttle response characteristics... again for the worse IMO

Id like to see milspec vs boomba.

Does the huge difference price show on the dyno?

I seriously doubt it.

Work smarter not harder with your money...

Out here in California, we have 91. Out in IL, they have 93.

You have to realize that 10mm on diameter gives you a 33% bigger cross section area. We always think of our products as an investment to a potential buyer (that is why we have so many different adaptors). It can be used with a stock set up but as you add more and more mods (bigger piping and manifold) you can still use it. You spent money once and it works for you forever.
TB was designed to be used with 75mm pipes and manifold to uleash its full potential.

How do all your piping adapters affect the positioning of the IC piping? The piping of some kits utalizing the stock battery has VERY minimal play -- if your couplers push the end out 1-2 inches.. they are going to have a problem.

They are both back to back tests against stock. Not flaming, but I think it makes the Boomba results highly suspect.
