Odd problem.

I was driving my 03' Evo and when I got on it at a high speed approximately at 100 and climbing, it seemed to hesitate a little as if it were tiny almost non-existant bucking you could BARELY feel. That later turned into bucking and backfiring. My service light just came on. I am running alcohol which is full. I checked vaccuum hoses for kinks and rips which I can't find. My next step is to replace all of the hoses and see what happens, but the engine light and heavy backfiring scares me a little. I am running a 10.5 hotside Evo IX turbo with a Buschur front mount and all the appropriate piping. I am not sure if my Walboro 255 is malfunctioning but the wideband seems to read 16.00 while it cycles until the car actually heats up a little which it never did before. Recently, the start ups seem to be getting a little more violent. Note I do run 280 COMP cams. Any ideas where I should look? I am obviously going to get the light checked but I don't really want to be running it in the streets. It's too the point if I give it decent gas off from a start [not really launching, but a good amount of throttle], it backfires like a straight tommy gun.

Here is also the relevent mod list as far as engine/boost/etc. so you at least know what I'm working with:

All dyno tuning done by Jack_of_trades on a dyno.
2 way ECU map
Basically my ecu is running the most up to date rom. Complete with all the goodies: no lift to shift, valet, knock "light".
