Misfiring and Backfiring after Timing Belt and fluids were changed??
So i brought my car in to get mmy timing belt and diff fluids and tranny fluids changed and for the past week my car has been misfiring, backfiring and idling differently then it ever has. When i first got the car back i was happy to feel that my stick was moving alot easier into gears and the car just felt better all around. But after a week of driving it i cant say im still pleased. Does anyone kow what the cause of these things can be?

exactly... on your valve cover, take the cam gear over off... theres a little tick mark.. make sure the cams are lined up with the tick marks... more than likely they are not since youre backfiring and misfiring... drive the car as little as possible or nto at all if you can...

the check engine light has not come on at all. Today when i started my car it also sputtered a bit but after it idled for a few minutes the sputter was gone. After i made the post i went outside and started my car and opened the hood and noticed that my upper ic pipe was missing a mounting bolt and the uppper ic pipe was pushed against my battery. I know for a fast that when i brought my car in my ic mounting bolts were all there and my upper ic pipe was never touching my battery. I dont even want to say where i brought my car because i was extremely happy with the service and the people there were awesome but this isn't right at all.

I forgot to add that my spark plugs were done right after i got my car back by a local mechanic. Could he have gapped them poorly or is this def a timing issue?

doubt its the plugs, but easiest to check.
Id say with TTP that its not in time correctly.
You can take off that top cover with 4 10mm bolts and set it to TDC and see if those line up with the valve cover. that is the easiest thing next to plugs.
If those, then you might wanna check the lower stuff (not as easy). But i think if those were out of time, the motor would shake like hell as the balance shaft is for that purpose
