very good point 9sec9
I believe I have seen people running 30-32psi on the greens and FP mentions on their site about 30psi on race gas in their blurbs. Not sure on what shaft speed will be at at that level, but deff a valid point.

Here's a pic from our logs in 2007 on the FP-Green and on Buschur's Mustang Dyno. The peak boost was set to 36-37 and you can see the fall off by 7031 rpms. The whp at that point shows 443 whp. No question, the shaft speed was well in excess of 150K. Key to the power is keeping the boosted air cool.

+1 would you mind throwing out the list of mods?

Looks like someone is moving my pictures around on photobucket. Anyway, long time ago as far as mods, but basically Jun 272's, and FULL Buschur built parts with Stage 3 and stock ECU at THAT time if I recall. Complete list can be seen somewhere in this thread:

The 'old' FP EVO Green max useable shaft speed at STP is 162K, for the new FP EVO HTA Green max useable shaft speed is 153K.

Exceeding this only results in excessive exhaust pressure and hot air.

Thanks for that Maximo. I knew it would be in excess of 150K but since we didn't measure it back then, I wasn't too sure where it's limit was. Again, is there a term for the wheels 'deformation' above certain rpms? I knew you'd have the numbers.

Maximo, what the reason for the new HTA Green having a lower useable shaft speed vs. the "old" Green?

Well, you can only stuff so much **** in a 5 lb bag.

BTW we've had the old green to 185K and the new one to 168K. Doesn't do any good. Holding shaft speed to not exceed max always results in better dyno numbers. Can't get it in if you can't get it out.

Have you tested any turbos with a recirculated ported Megan 02 housing (2.5in 02 housing with a 2.5in donut flange into a 3in downpipe) vs. a custom 3in 02 housing with a 2.5in dump tube VTA (3in 02 housing with a 3in Vband flange into a 3in downpipe). The goal is to eliminate the step and make it a true 3in 02 with a 3in downpipe and then VTA to lessen the exhaust gasses going back into the exhaust. The backpressure should be significantly dropped! Do you have any inputs towards this? About to try this and see what happens. I'm maxed out on my setup currently. Scott at FP is working on getting me a 80mm compressor cover for my IX turbo to see if that helps out as well. Should be an interesting setup. lmk what you think.

with the upgraded actuator could you boost to 27 and hold almost 25 to redline using a 25lb actuator IX turbo? Or say boost to 25 and hold it to 7K?

I had the stock wastegate on the 30lb run and it was preloaded as far as it would go. It made a big difference over the stock wastegate! I picked up a $#!^ ton of mid-range torque and horsepower. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7314465-post62.html
That is plain and simply insane. I have one new FP actuator but I haven't put it on yet. I am running stock turbo and I will putting it on whenever I run e-85.

Your gains are ridiculous.
