Should i port my fp red 80mm turbo

Just bought a fp red with the new cover and it's not ported should i have it ported or it doesn't matter also what's the benifit in porting it..

It doesnt have to be ported but on boost under 25psi it does have a tendency to creep some when it is not ported. Anything over 25psi it runs perfect for me atleast. Your gonna love the turbo!!!

if im not mistaken mostwanted fp red record was on no porting ....

i would port just to get the most out of it , it just my opinion

gains??? dont know

I too would port/coat it to get the most gains possible.

what is the major benifit of porting it or is there one? I think that is more of what he is getting at.

That's what everyone tells me about this turbo is your's ported..and does anyone know people who port in house in ny....

I ported my turbo as well as some other parts and my tuner was very happy with how much better the car was breathing compared to other reds he has tuned.

I had mine ported from Buschur. Checked it - its gasket matched and smoothed out down in.. and on the o2 side it was reshaped and really opened up to flow.

Been calling some around today and they actually said that the lip is so small on the hot side that it's not going to make a big difference unless i port the exhuast maniflod,intake,throttle body,and head,to max out the turbo..if not porting not going to do nothing this is coming from some honest people..
